Stage 3 – Treasure Trove

Props: Shovel, cactus prop, window and door wall (no door), rifle and shotgun racks, table.

Staging:Shooter standing at window with shovel in hand.  Loaded rifle in rack to left of mat, unloaded shotgun in rack at right.

Start: Before sound of the buzzer shooter puts down shovel, puts his hand to his mouth and yells “You Won’t Take Me Alive!!” At the sound of the buzzer, shooter engages pistol targets through the window 1-3-5-4-2, 2-gun repeat.  Holster pistols.  DO NOT balance or brace on window!  Do not engage NO SHOOT target- that’s your uncle, 10 second penalty per stage if hit, but it is not scored as a miss.

Shooter then moves to left and engages derringer / PP target with up to 4 rounds, with a 5 second bonus per hit, and place derringer / PP back on table with muzzle downrange.

Shooter moves to left and engages rifle targets 1-2-3-1-2-3-1-2-3, then replace empty rifle in rack.

Shooter then moves to right, through doorway, to shotgun rack, retrieves shotgun and engages targets 1-2-1-2.  Shooter may load as many as the shotgun can safely hold.  Misses CAN be made up using extra shells- if so misses are reduced one per each subsequent hit but the target must be re-engaged IMMEDIATELY AFTER it is missed.  Swinger must move to be scored a hit.  Last shot stops the clock

Scoring: Time plus misses, less bonuses.
